Wanaka Wedding at Lake Hawea View and The Venue

Min + Wiremu (aka Woods) held their wedding on the shores of Lake Hawea on the most insanely windy day I think I have ever seen!  First off they got ready and did their first look at Lake Hawea View which has such a breathtaking vista. They had to be sheltered by their celebrant during their ceremony and one of the best men had to read their vows…it was seriously blowing a gale!  This wasn’t going to let them be stopped and they had a heartfelt ceremony on the shores of the lake followed by some time spent with me flying about the place. First we flew to Mt Alpha then The Pisa Range and then we returned to their reception at The Venue in Wanaka which was beautiful and a moving haka performed by friends and family topped it all off.  Thank you so much for including me in your day and being so welcoming…..it was a true honor to work with you both!
